Below are given some very easy and effective skin care recipes that you can apply at home.
- Honey Facial: Honey is a very useful and effective skin care product. Honey is known as a natural antioxidant, and has Ant-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties.
- Home Recipe for Dry Skin: Take 1 egg yolk, 1 Teaspoon honey, 1 Teaspoon olive oil, Vitamin E oil or Sweet Almond Oil. Mix all these ingredients completely and apply on face and neck. Leave this for 15-20 minutes. Rinse with tepid water. If you have extremely dry skin, then add more olive oil or almond oil.
- Mask for Oily Skin: Take 1/2 Cucumber, 1 Egg white, 1 Tablespoon Lemon juice, 1 Teaspoon mint. Puree everything and refrigerate for 10 minutes. Now apply this mixture on face and leave for at least 15 minutes. Rinse with warm, then cool water.
- Oily skin Facial Scrub: Take 3 tablespoons of Aloe vera gel, 1 Tablespoon of lime juice, 2 Tablespoons of brown sugar, 1 Tablespoon of honey. Mix it properly until Aloe and honey completely and smoothly mix up. Add some lime juice and brown sugar step. Stir the mixture. Sugar will be something undissolved. Apply this on whole face. Leave for 15 minutes, and then wash off with warm water.
- Blemished Skin Mask / Acne: Take 1 tsp. honey, 2 drops Tea Tree Oil. Mix them up and apply on face. Leave for 15-20 minutes. Rinse with tepid water. You can apply this twice a week. This will also help in reducing breakouts.
- Tightening Mask: Take 1 beaten egg, 2 Teaspoons orange juice, 1 Teaspoon lemon juice and a few drops of sweet almond oil. Mix all ingredients together and apply to face. Leave for 20-30 minutes. Rinse with tepid water. This mask helps in tightening the skin, and reduce pore size. This mask will also help in removing the old layers of skin.
